I admit to missing the docking station with my Macbook Pro. It may be a small thing, but being able to just slide in a laptop and be set is nicer than futzing with chords and is one of those things that makes me less willing to jump around the house with the laptop (that and the fact that when ‘docked’ it is to a 30″ monitor).
But now
there is a docking station for the Macbook Pro:
Not quite as elegant as a PC one huh. I hope that it is good so I can tease Ben who just moved to a 17″ Macbook pro (and that won’t fit of course).

I know I’m commenting on a year old post from your blog but if you get this I was just wondering…do you still use the dock and if so do you like it and feel it’s worth th ebucks?
I have a 13″ MacBook and will be moving to a 15″ MacBook Pro soon and was wondering if I need this gizmo or not. I too hate to plug and unplug all my appa-rat-tie everytime I decide to move around the house.

I am under impression that docking station can be used for only ipods. I am not sure, heard some where can be used lot ways. Can any one please clarify my great doubt, what ways it can be utilised, as i am going to have one for mi ipod soon…
