Why not try and make a Dashboard style application for the competition?

This would essentially consist of charts and tables.
Rich and fluid interactions via drill down, panning and zooming on charts, drag and drop and such clever stuff could make this really interesting.


Furthermore, why not throw in Flex into the mix.

Make 3 teams, an AJAX one, a JavaFX one and a Flex team and ask them to make a Dashboard, depicting let&#039;s say the last US Congress election results. That kind of data is readily available, I think.
